A day off from touring is a day doing laundry. When I first started living in Amsterdam there were like, three do-it-yourself laundries with just a couple machines each. A person could wait for hours for an opening. Fortunately my new apartment (seen here in photo) had a small washer/centrifuge and a handsome clothes-drying rack.
That's Ross Hamilton behind the camera giving me grief. Ross was in Paris for The Oregonian (newspaper) to do some kind of fashion shoot and looked me up when it was over. From high-fashion, to laundry-shoot, to band-on-the-road, Ross can do it all.

lyrics
Better To Be Lonely
Better to be lonely
Than to spend my life with you
Better to be lonely
Than to spend my life with you
I don't care what people say
They don't know you like I do
Better to be lonely
Than to live in misery
Better to be lonely
Than to live in misery
Well it's way past time to go babe
'Cause your love is killing me
Better to be lonely
Without a penny to my name
Better to be lonely
Without a penny to my name
Well I'd rather take my place babe
In the loser's hall of fame
Better to be lonely
Better to be lonely
Better to be lonley
Better to be lonely
I'd rather take my place
In the loser's hall of fame
