We all know someone who's had a family member or someone close take their own life. Many of us have experienced it first hand. Although I've been haunted by the suicide of a person very dear to me for over a decade, it was never my intention to write a song about this deeply personal experience. I had a new guitar riff that I had been working on for a few weeks when the phrase "They said you’d lost your way, when they found you yesterday...." lifted itself out of the melody. This is one of those songs that just fell out of the sky. Who am I to argue with the creative process? The song wrote itself. I'm still haunted by that death.

Great album, from start to finish. Psychoriffadelia is, from far, the best song of all (considering that there are other excellent songs as Hair of Dog and Stressknots). That song is in some parts "easy", steady and trippy and therefore it just smash is over a very heavy metal riff. Big up to the band! barrera_josea
