I’ve stepped over souls
On the street passed out
It could be you or me
But that’s not what I’m talkin’ about
I’m talkin’ about things that you don’t get taught
You move your hand when the fire’s hot
I just want to roll with you tonight
When I’m with you I’m a deer in your headlights
I’ve choked on tears
That fell like high ideals
When I tried to change the world
I found myself beneath its wheels
Some days the tire tracks I don’t mind
Some days they’re the only signs of life that I can find
I’ve looked the other way
I’ve made words into walls
I walk amongst the victims
But I cannot hear their calls

The Voodoo Blues. A throbbing, swampy groove from The Snakeys. Can't wait to see these folk live. A sound reminiscent of many of the late Sixties, early Seventies rock legends, given a massive injection of mojo and attitude.
It's all quality. Great songs and great performances. The band is tight. Great swing on the drums and bass. The real deal for sure. Great singer and raunchy guitarwork. Richard Crowfoot
Like their last EP this is a great modern blues rock record with a nod to the great British blues boom of the late 70's like Taste and Groundhogs , Chris has a great early Johnny Winter snarl to his voice and the rhythm section is solid . great guitar psychout on the track Ride on . Cant wait to catch them live if they get to Sydney William Stevenson
